Solar panels capture the sun's radiation and convert it into low-voltage electricity of +/-30Vdc. This electricity is converted into 230Vac by an inverter and fed directly into the electrical circuit of your home to power your electrical appliances. Any surplus is re-injected into the distribution network. You continue to feed yourself via the electricity grid, but you reduce your bill by self-consuming your solar energy.
